Commissioning art for the first time is a unique and exciting experience. No matter if you are a first time art buyer or a seasoned collector, we are here to make the process enjoyable. If you have an idea for a custom work, send us a message in the “Request a Commission” form above or via email at theartcollective123@gmail.com, and we will get in touch with you.

Commissioned pieces are based on the size, medium and complexity of the piece. Depending on materials used, as well as the artist’s availability, expect starting prices from $500.

Before we begin working on your commission, we take a 50% non-refundable deposit. Once the piece is complete, we will send you a high resolution image of the work. If you accept it, we will charge your credit card the remaining 50% and ship the piece to you. If for some reason you are not entirely satisfied when you see the image, we can work with you to make small adjustments to the art. There are no returns once you take possession of the art.

The time taken will vary depending on the size, medium and complexity of the artwork, as well as the artist’s availability. Expect the process to take up to 6-8 weeks.

Absolutely, photos are a great reference and starting point when commissioning an artwork. If you don’t have a photo, there is no need to worry, as you will be able to keep in contact with the artist.

Before the artist starts working on your commission, you will be able to have a consultation and discuss more in detail about the exact kind of artwork you have in mind. While working on your project, we will send out regular updates as the piece progresses from its initial sketch to the final finished product.
